When Is Purple Day 2024. The epilepsy association of the maritimes came on board in 2008 to help develop cassidy’s idea which is now known as purple day. There are approximately 50 million people around the world living with epilepsy making it one of the most common neurological diseases globally.
Purple day is a key time to raise awareness of epilepsy and the challenges children and young people living with epilepsy face every day. A recognition of sacrifice and heroism for those who were killed or wounded in service to our nation.
